Our operations are based on unbiased leadership principles- NAHCON
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) says it’s operations are constantly guided by the principles of unbiased leadership of the President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Prof. Usman Sale, the Chairman, NAHCON, stated this on Saturday in Kano when he was honored by the Tudunmurtala Development Foundation, Kano for the successful conduct of the 2025 Hajj, adjudged to be the best in recent times.
“We regard this Commission as an office for all Muslim Nigerians, regardless of their political callings and or Islamic sect differences, this is the actual position and mandate of President Tinubu that was given to us.
“Today as the gathering clearly shows, the mission of uniting Nigeria by Tinubu without giving preference to political and religious differences has taken toll and on his part he promised to continue in that direction,” Sale said.
Also speaking, the chairman of the foundation, Alhaji Yahya Bagobiri, lauded the Sale for the successful conduct of the 2025 Hajj.
Rep. Hassan Hussain (NNPP- Kano) commended the NAHCON Chairman for upholding the teachings of the Holy Quran in the running of the commission.
Hussain, who represents Nassarawa Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, also lauded the NNPP led Kano State Government in terms of provision of social amenities to the people of the state.
He assured that areas like Tudunmurtala, Rimin Kebbe and other places that benefitted from his road projects, would be considered for more dividends of democracy soon.
The programme was witnessed by politicians from different political parties, as well as Islamic scholars from Izala, Tijjaniya and Qadiriyya sects.
