Police Arrest Father For Raping 8-year-old Daughter In Bauchi
The Police in Bauchi State have arrested one Baffa’ji Abba in Alkaleri for allegedly raping his 8-year-old daughter.
A statement by the Command spokesperson, SP Nafiu Habib said report of the incest was brought to the attention of the Divisional Police Headquarters, Alkaleri, on 31 December 2025 by one Baffa’ji Muhammed, living in the same address with the suspect and the victim.
He reported that the father lured the little girl into a bathroom and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her through both her vagina and anus about five times in a single day against her will.
“On receipt of the report, a team of detectives led by CSP Kadiri Danjuma, DPO Alkaleri, swiftly visited the scene, moved the victim to General Hospital Alkaleri for immediate medical attention, and arrested the suspect.
“During interrogation, the suspect willingly confessed to the crime without much ado.”
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, has ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Criminal Investigation Department to conduct a discreet and diligent investigation of the case for the prompt arraignment of the suspect.
