Police, Military, DSS, Others Launch Massive Security Operation in Kaduna State
Security agencies have launched a massive combat operation against insurgents, bandits and other criminals across Kaduna State.
The operation involves the Police, Military, Department of State Services (DSS), Civil Defence, KADVS, Vigilante groups, and local hunters.
A statement by the state Command of the Police issued on Tuesday by DSP Mansur Hassan, said already a comprehensive clearance operation within Makarfi, Hunkuyi, and Ikara Local Government Areas has been launched.
“The operation is strategically designed to flush out criminal hideouts, dismantle illegal camps and restore absolute peace and stability within all the nooks and crannies of the affected areas.
“It is also in strict compliance with the marching orders of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, directing all Commands to intensify efforts toward eliminating crime and criminality in their jurisdictions,” he said.
The Commissioner of Police, assured the public that these operations will be continuous and robust, with all security agencies maintaining close collaboration to ensure a crime-free environment.
“The Command remains firmly committed to sustaining the peaceful atmosphere currently being enjoyed across the state.”
