President Tinubu Appoints Heads Of Social Intervention Agencies 

President Bola Tinubu has heads of social intervention agencies under Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.

Those appointed are Dr. Badamasi Lawal, a former Commissioner in Katsina State, who is now the Chief Executive Officer, National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA), Ms. Funmilola Olotu, a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on lotteries, now to serve as Programme Manager, National Social Safety-Net Coordinating Office.

Ms. Aishat Alubankudi, a community development, risk assessor and financial manager, will spearhead the Grant for Vulnerable Groups as Programme Manager, while Princess Aderemi Adebowale is now the  Programme Manager, Home Grown School Feeding.

Others include Mr. Abdullahi Alhassan Imam — Programme Manager, National Cash Transfer Office, Mr. Ayuba Gufwan, Executive Secretary, National Commission for People with Disabilities, and a retired permanent secretary, Ms. Lami Binta Adamu Bello, as Director General, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons.

“The President expects the new heads of these critical agencies and programmes to discharge the functions of their offices with utmost integrity and diligence so as to ensure that Nigerians, especially vulnerable groups, are the exclusive and direct beneficiaries of his administration’s reconfigured welfare programmes,” Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, said in a statement on Tuesday.
