Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, has denied imposing curfew over the ongoing protest against bad governance.
He said in spite of the reported looting of government properties in Kaduna, no curfew was imposed because the situation was under control.

The governor wrote on his X handle: “No curfew has been imposed in Kaduna as we speak. Everything is under control.”

Some hoodlums had set a portion of the Kaduna State Transport Law Authority (KASTLEA) office ablaze and carted away some properties belonging to the agency.

They also touched the headquarters of the Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA), vandalising the building.
