Radda Reshuffles Cabinet, Appoints 2 SAs

 

 

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has announced a cabinet reshuffle following the appointment of three new commissioners and two special advisers.

According to the governor, the reshuffle is with immediate effect and was done improve service delivery and optimise performance across key sectors.

Adnan Nahabu is now in charge of Higher, Vocational and Technical Education; Prof. Ahmad Muhammad Bakor moves  from Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development to head the newly created Ministry of Livestock Development.

Aliyu Lawal Zakari was redeployed from the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to Ministry of Agriculture, while Hajiya Zainab Musa Musawa moves from Basic and Secondary Education to Ministry of Special Duties.

Also, Yusuf Suleiman Jibia now takes charge of the Basic and Secondary Education ministry; Engr. Surajo Yazid Abukur, Youth and Sports Development; Hajiya Aisha Aminu, the erstwhile Director-General, Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency, is now the Commissioner, Women Affairs.

The two Special Advisers are Hajiya Hadiza Abubakar Yar’adua, Nutrition and Welfare Services, and Isa Muhammad Musa, Cultural Orientation.

Governor Radda charged the appointees to prioritise service to the people.

He expressed confidence that they will enhance coordination, deepen sectoral expertise, and accelerate the delivery of critical programmes across all sectors.
