Saudi entertainment fiesta attracts 12m visitors in 2 months

Recent additions, including The Groves and Souq Al Awaleen, have further enhanced the visitor experience at the 5th edition of Riyadh Season.

RIYADH  Saudi Arabia’s annual entertainment fiesta has so far attracted over 12 million visitors from across the world since it commenced on October 12, the Chairman of Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Turki Al-Sheikh, has said.

The festival, tagged Riyadh Season 2024, is one of the largest entertainment season in the Middle East and the world, and will continue till March 2025.

The season has witnessed remarkable presence of visitors from all over the world, with the organisers unveiling varieties of events including concerts, art exhibitions, theatrical performances, and entertainment catering to the taste of all segment and age of visitors.

Part of the fiesta is the highly anticipated Boxing Week that featured the historic rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury on Sunday, attracting significant global audience.

The Riyadh Season events has 14 entertainment zones, 11 world championships, 10 festivals and exhibitions holding on an area of up to 7.2 million square meters.

Recent additions, including The Groves and Souq Al Awaleen, have further enhanced visitors experience.

The opening of Courchevel zone in Boulevard World has provided visitors with an exceptional opportunity to enjoy a unique winter experience.

The organisers have also added an innovative zone that offers a unique blend of aviation and entertainment.
