Tinubu Appoints Ali, Ndache, 6 others to Head Information Agencies

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of eight new Chief Executive Officers for Parastatals and Agencies under the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.

A statement on Thursday in Abuja by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President, said that the appointment was with immediate effect.

He said the new appointees have been mandated by the President “to innovate and create new opportunities for Nigerians to leverage upon through the effective reform of these key institutions of government which function to unify our people, reshape mindsets, and showcase this great nation to the rest of the world”.

Those appointment are Mr. Ali M. Ali as Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mr. Lanre Issa-Onilu, Director-General and CEO, National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr. Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos, Director-General and CEO, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), and Dr. Muhammed Bulama, Director-General and CEO of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).

Others are Mr. Charles Ebuebu, Director-General and CEO of National Broadcasting Commission (NBC),  Mr. Jibrin Baba Ndace, Director-General and CEO, Voice of Nigeria (VON), Dr. Lekan Fadolapo, Director-General /CEO, Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), and Mr. Dili Ezughah, Executive Secretary, Nigerian Press Council (NPC).
