Tinubu Offers Appointment To Kwankwaso, Matori, Anosike
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the reconstitution of the Executive Management of 12 River Basin Development Authorities under the Federal Ministry of Water Resources.
Those appointed include Iliyasu Musa Kwankwaso, Isa Matori, Senator Emmanuel Anosike, and Mike Ohio Ezomo.

The Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority has Odebunmi Olusegun from Oyo as Chairman, Engr. Dr. Adedeji Ashiru, Managing Director, Ayo Oyalowo, Executive Director, Finance, Dokunmu Olufemi Oyekunle, Executive Director, Planning and Design, S u l e i m a n Oris, Executive Director, Agric Services, and Engr. Julius Oloro, Executive Director, Engineering.
Similarly, the Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority has Sanusi Mohammed Babantanko as Chairman, Samuel Mahmud Mohammed, Managing Director, Usman Babandubu Bakare, Executive Director, Engineering,
Ibrahim Dasuki Jalo, Executive Director Finance, Isa Matori, Executive Director, Planning and Design, and Hamman Dikko, as Executive Director, Agric Services.
Under the Chad Basin Development Authority, Prof. Abdu Dauda will serve as Chairman, with Tijjani Musa Tumsa as Managing Director, Barr. Bashir Baale, Executive Director, Finance, lliyasu Muazu, Executive Director, Agric Services, Engr. Mohammed Shetima, Executive Director, Engineering, and Vrati Nzonzo – Executive Director, Planning and Design.
At the Benin-Owena River Basin Development Authority, Mike Ohio Ezomo was appointed Chairman while Femi Adekanbi will serve as Managing Director, with Dr. Austin Nonyelim Izagbo, Executive Director Planning and Design, Johnson Oghuma, Executive Director, Agric Services, Adegboyega Bamisile, Executive Director Finance, and Bayode Akinduro as Executive Director Engineering.
The Niger Delta Basin will be chaired by Chief Ebikemi Boi Bosin, with Amgbare Ebitimi as Managing Director, Chief (Mrs.) Mary Alagoa – Executive Director Finance, Dr. Austin N. Izagbo – Executive Director, Engineering, Mr. Felix Kurogha – Executive Director Agric Services, and
Barr. Nnamdi Akani, Executive Director, Planning and Design.
The Upper Niger Basin has Haruna Y. Usman – Chairman, Dangajere Shuaibu Bawa Jaja – Managing Director, Mohammed Usma – Executive Director, Finance, Dr. Abdullahi A. Kutso – Executive Director, Planning and Design, Ayuba Waziri Tedde – Executive Director, Agric services, and John Hassan – Executive Director, Engineering.
Lower Niger River Basin, Abdullateef Alakawa was appointed Chairman, Engr. George Olumoroti, Managing Director, Engr. Babajamu Adeniran – Executive Director, Engineering, Abdullahi Sadiq – Executive Director, Agric Services, Engr. Alanamu Ayinla Abolere, Executive Director, Planning and Design, and
6. Hon. Abidemi Adeyemi – Executive Director Finance.
Similarly, Dr Amos Gizo Yadukso will serve as Chairman of Lower Benue RIVER Basin, Engr. Ninga Terese – Managing Director, Chief Chris Takar – Executive Director, Engineering, Yusuf Omaaki – Executive Director, Finance, Hassan Omale – Executive Director, Agric Services, and Okibe Timothy Ogomola – Executive Director, Planning and Design.
For Anambra-Imo Basin Authority, Senator Emmanuel Anosike was appointed as Chairman, Emeka Nduka – Managing Director, Nwebonyi Priscilla Nkechi – Executive Director Finance, Evaristus Asadu – Executive Director, Engineering, Barrister Onukwubiri N.Ojigwe – Executive Director, Agric Services, and Barr. Abigail Igwe – Executive Director, Planning and Design.
In Hadejia-Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, Mamman Da’u Aliyu will be the Chairman, Engr. Rabiu Suleiman Bichi – Managing Director Director, Tijjani Musa Isa – Executive Director, Planning and Design, Hajiya Zainab Gamawa – Executive Director Agric Services, Baffa Dandatti Abdulkadir – Executive Director, Engineering, and Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso – Executive Director Finance.
The appointment also has Mr. Wabilly Nyiam as Chairman of Cross River Basin Development Authority with Mrs. Glory Ekpo Oho as Managing Director, Effiwatt Otu Eyo – Executive Director Finance, Ms. Ebiere Etuk Udoh – Executive Director, Agric Services, Engr. Charles Usua Akpan – Executive Director, Engineering, and Dr. Ndom Abia -Executive Director, Planning and Design.
Sokoto Rima Basin is chaired by Bello Yahaya Wurno, and Abubakar Mallam as Managing Director while Kabiru Ladan Maigoro is Executive Director, Planning and Design, Abubakar Ibrahim – Executive Director, Finance, Muttaka Badaru Jikamshi – Executive Director, Agric Services, and Mansur Aminu – Executive Director, Engineering.
President Tinubu charged the appointees to use their wealth of experience to bolster the efficiency of the river basins in line with the administration’s commitment to better the lives of citizens.
