Tinubu Sacks BPP DG
President Bola Tinubu has sacked the Director General of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), Mr. Mamman Ahmadu.
A statement by presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale on Saturday said that the President ordered Ahmadu to handover to the most senior director with immediate effect, pending the appointment of a new director general.
“This is part of a larger reorganization effort in the public procurement system to reposition the agency for greater efficiency and transparency,” the statement added.
