Tumsa pledges sustained investment in education, youth empowerment in Yobe

A philanthropist and businessman in Yobe State, Barrister Kashim Musa Tumsa, has restated his firm commitment to championing the welfare of the people of  the state  through sustained investments in education, youth empowerment, and other key sectors.

 

Speaking while en route to the venue of the 2026 budget presentation by Governor Mai Mala Buni in Damaturu, Tumsa said his contributions are driven by a deep passion to uplift communities and complement the developmental efforts of the state government.

 

He emphasized that education remains the cornerstone of his philanthropic mission, and the foundation for sustainable growth and human capital development.

 

Tumsa said that his past interventions—including scholarship awards, school rehabilitation, and the provision of learning materials—have already begun to make a positive impact.

 

He assured that more support will be extended to rural communities in the coming year, with a strengthened focus on providing quality education for underprivileged children.

 

The philanthropist highlighted his ongoing interest in supporting healthcare delivery, youth entrepreneurship, and poverty alleviation, stating that such efforts align with the state’s broader vision of economic recovery and social stability.
