Tumsah provides sanitation facilities, electricity for 500 Tsangaya school students in Yobe

A philantrophist, Barrister Kashim Musa Tumsah has provided sanitation facilities and electricity for 500 students of Bututu Tsangaya Islamic School in Yobe State.
The facilities which were provided within two weeks include solar-powered electricity and toilets, and funding for the graduation ceremony of some students who completed their studies.
Tumsah explained through Umar Aloma, Director-General of the KMT BOND Team, that the intervention was to address the chronic sanitation issues in the school, enhance the safety of the over 500 students, and enable nighttime learning.
“Communities deserve action, not excuses,” he said while handing over the facilities.
The head of the Tsangaya school lauded Tumsah for the projects, saying it was the first such intervention in the school’s 20-year history. “No leader has matched this urgency in over 20 years of our existence,” he added.
The Syndicate reports that Tumsah has also pledged to drill a solar-powered borehole to provide potable to the school.
He pledged to provìde more impactful support in communities at the grassroots to ease their hardship.
