FUTB REITERATES COMMITMENT TO PARTICIPATE IN DANMODI HOUSING SCHEME

The Federal University of Technology, Babura has reaffirmed it commitment to participating in Danmodi Housing Scheme.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Sabo Ibrahim Birnin Kudu reiterated the commitment when he paid a courtesy visit to the State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri, in his office where discussions focused on the allocation of houses constructed under the scheme in Babura Local Government Area.
During the meeting, Professor Sabo highlighted the university’s proactive approach to engaging with the state government. “We previously met with His Excellency, Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi, to express our interest in the Damodi Housing Scheme. With the scheme now operational, we felt it imperative to follow up on our initial request and demonstrate our commitment to this important initiative,” he stated.
The Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude towards Governor Malam Umar A Namadi for his unwavering support and collaboration with the university, acknowledging the positive impact of this partnership on the institution’s growth. He also emphasized the need for continued support and pledged to strengthen the already cordial relationship between the Federal University of Technology, Babura, and the Jigawa State Government.
Responding, the State of the Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri welcomed the Vice Chancellor’s visit and reiterated the Jigawa State Government’s readiness to collaborate with federal agencies in the State to achieve common objectives. He assured Professor Sabo of the state government’s ongoing commitment to provide the necessary support and cooperation to ensure the successful implementation of the Danmodi Housing Scheme and other initiatives that benefit the community.
This collaborative effort marks a significant step towards enhancing housing opportunities and improving the living conditions of the university community and its surroundings.
