2024 CAF Awards: Lookman, Nwabali In Final 5-Man List

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has published the list of top five nominees in the men’s category ahead of the 2024 awards.

Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali were among the final five-man list for the CAF Player and Goalkeeper of the Year Awards, respectively.

Others nominated in the Men’s Player of the Year category are Cote d’Ivoire’s Simon Adingra, Guinea’s Serhou Guirassy, Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi, and South Africa’s Ronwen Williams.

Nigeria is also in the running for the National Team of the Year Award, alongside the current African champions, Cote d’Ivoire, DR Congo, South Africa, and Sudan.

The event will be held on December 16, 2024, in Marrakech, Morocco.
