The National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, is currently meeting with service chiefs and heads of security and intelligence agencies.

The agenda of the closed-door meeting holding in Abuja has not been disclosed, but it may not be unconnected with the threat of US President Donald Trump to invade Nigeria over false claims of genocide against Christians.

The NSA is expected to brief the media on the outcome of the meeting and possibly provide adequate response to the allegations of genocide and update on ongoing government efforts to contain insecurity and other vices in the country.
