Jigawa Govt Lauds Buji Council Chairman Over Improved Health Facilities

The Jigawa State Government has commended the Chairman of Buji Local Government Council, Hon. Najibullah Falalu Tukur, for his efforts in renovating and improving health facilities across the local government area.

The commendation was given by the State Deputy Governor, Engr. Aminu Usman Gumel, who also serves as the state Chairman of the Primary Health Care (PHC) Task Force, during an inspection visit to primary healthcare centres in Gantsa, Sagu, and Yayari communities of the area.

Engr. Gumel expressed satisfaction with the level of progress recorded so far, particularly the quality of work at the renovated facilities. He owever stressed the need for further improvement at the Sagu Primary Healthcare Centre to ensure efficient service delivery.

He also appreciated the role of traditional rulers in supporting government programmes by mobilizing their subjects to patronize healthcare centres, describing their contribution as vital to achieving universal health coverage in the state.

In his remarks, Hon. Najibullah Falalu Tukur reiterated his commitment to complement Governor Umar Namadi’s 12-point development agenda, particularly in the health sector.

He urged residents of the area to continue supporting the present administration to achieve its developmental goals.

The Deputy Governor was accompanied on the inspection tour by the Executive Secretary of the Jigawa State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr. Sambo Shehu, alongside other top government officials.
