NUJ Jigawa Condoles with Gov. Namadi’s Chief Press Secretary Over Brother’s Death

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Jigawa State Council, has condoled with Malam Hamisu Muhammed Gumel, Chief Press Secretary to Gov. Umar Namadi of Jigawa State, over the passing of his elder brother, Mukhtar Muhammed Sidi.
This is contained in a statement jointly signed by the Chairman of NUJ Jigawa State Council, Comrade Ismai’la Ibrahim Dutse, and the Acting Secretary of the Council, Comrade Aminu Umar Shuwajo.
The statement revealed that Comrade Ismai’la Dutse led members of the State Working Committee to visit the family in Gumel to offer condolences on the
irreparable loss of the late Malam Mukhtar Muhammed Sidi. The Union members also prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the departed soul.
“We pray that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala grants eternal peace to the soul of the late Malam Mukhtar Muhammed Sidi in the highest place of Jannatul Firdaus,” the statement concluded.
