The Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, CP Ojo Adekimi, says the Command will track down killers of three officers during an attack on the Police Mobile Force camp, at Kaiama local government area early on Saturday.
Adekimi said he received with profound shock and deep sorrow the report of a deadly attack at Tenebo village, Kaiama LGA.
The condolence message was contained in a press release by SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi the Police Public Relations Officer, in Ilorin on Saturday.
It asserted that the heinous and cowardly act, which claimed the lives of three gallant police officers and left several others critically injured, is strongly condemned in its entirety.
The release noted that fallen officers paid the ultimate price in the line of duty, bravely standing to defend the safety and security of Kwara communities.
“Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
“The Command extends its heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of the deceased officers during this moment of immense grief.
“We also pray for the swift recovery of the injured personnel currently receiving treatment.
“No words can fully capture the pain of this loss, but the Command stands firmly with the bereaved families and assures them of our unwavering support,” it stated.
CP Adekimi has vowed that the Command will deploy all available operational, intelligence, and tactical resources to ensure that the perpetrators of the barbaric attack are tracked down and brought to justice adding that there will be no hiding place for those responsible.
