ADTN TO HOLD 38TH SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE IN DUTSE

The Association of Dental Technologists of Nigeria (ADTN) will host its 38th Scientific Conference and Annual General Meeting from October 8-9, 2026, at the Manpower Development Institute in Dutse, Jigawa State.
The National President of the Association Dr. Eyarefe O. Stephen, made this known today during a courtesy visit to Governor Malam Umar A Namadi.
He explained that the courtesy visit is aimed to strengthen the relationship between ADTN and the Jigawa State Government, particularly within the health sector, and to discuss enhancing healthcare delivery through the contributions of Dental Technology Officers and Technologists.
The National President of Association told the Governor that, the purpose of the visit is also formally invited him to the opening ceremony. He said “this year’s conference theme is “MENTORING: A Tool for Shaping The Future of Dental Technology Profession in Nigeria.”
Dr. Stephen expressed appreciation for the Governor’s support and anticipated a productive collaboration to benefit Jigawa State citizens. The event will gather Dental Technology Officers, Technologists, and other healthcare professionals nationwide to discuss critical issues in the profession and oral health in Nigeria.
Responding, Governor Malam Umar A Namadi thanked the ADTN for selecting Jigawa State to host the event.
Represented by the State Head of Service, Alhaji Muhammad K Dagaceri, the Governor highlighted his administration’s significant progress in the health sector, focusing on universal health coverage, infrastructure expansion, and free medical services, reiterating a deep commitment to partnering with professional bodies like the ADTN.
