CCSPCR COMMENDS DUTSE LG CHAIRMAN FOR DISTRIBUTING TWO WAY RADIOS TO SECURITY AGENCIES, TRADITIONAL LEADERS

The Civil Society Coalition on Peace, Security and Conflict Resolution (CCSPCR), Jigawa State, has commended the Executive Chairman of Dutse local government council and the State’s ALGON Chairman, Malam Sibu Abdullahi, for distributing two way radios to security agencies, community vigilantes and traditional leaders in Dutse.

This is contained in a statement signed by Bar. Nura Muhammad, the Acting Head of Secretariat on behalf of Comrade Musbahu Basirka, the state
Chairman, CCSPCR on Sunday in Dutse.

Muhammad said that the timely intervention demonstrated purposeful leadership and a strong commitment to strengthening grassroots security, improving intelligence sharing, and promoting faster responses to security threats.

“CCSPCR particularly appreciates the inclusion of traditional leaders, whose closeness to their communities makes them vital partners in early warning and conflict prevention.

“We encourage other local government councils in Jigawa State to emulate this initiative and prioritise practical measures that protect lives, safeguard property, and promote peaceful coexistence.

“CCSPCR reiterates that security is a collective responsibility requiring sustained collaboration among government, security agencies, traditional institutions, and citizens,” he said.
