Ex- NUJ National Trustee loses mother in Kano

Hajiya Binta Ibrahim, the mother of Comrade Abbas Ibrahim, a former National Trustee of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) died on Friday at the age of 91.
A family source said that Hajiya Binta died after a protracted illness in Kano.
According to the source, her funeral prayer will hold on Friday at Sahaba, Kundila, Kano, immediately after the Juma’at prayer.
Among her surviving children included Salamatu Saminu, a retired Director, Kano State Private and Voluntary Institute Board, Halima Ibrahim, former principal at the Kano State Secondary School Management Board and Comrade Abbas Ibrahim.
Comrade Ibrahim, also a former Kano State NUJ Chairman, is the 2027 deputy governorship candidate of the Labor Party.
May Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings, grant her eternal rest and admit her into Jannatul Firdaus. Amin.
