There was pandemonium as a petrol-laden tanker exploded burning two articulated trucks, one 18-seater bus, two commercial cabs and three motorcycles in Ibadan.
The incident occurred at about 4:30pm on Saturday in Iyana-Ajia, Egbeda area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
As of the time of filing this report, the tanker is still burning while other affected vehicles have been turned to ashes.
The incident has caused gridlock along the Ibadan axis of the Ibadan-Ife Expressway.
There has been no report of any loss of life.
