Bandit Leader Kachalla Dan Lukuti Dies Barking Like Dog

A bandit kingpin Kachalla Dan Lukuti has reportedly died barking like a dog after he was hit by a mysterious illness.

Dan Lukuti has led deadly attacks in Zamfara and Katsina states, displaced many communities, and engaged in wanton killings and kidnapping, as well as rustling of animals.

Sources said Dan Lukuti fell sick about a week ago, developing unusual symptoms that included violent aggression, uncontrollable spasms, and continuous barking sounds resembling that of a rabid dog.

Sources said his gang members were unable to approach him due to the mysterious nature of his condition, forcing them to keep their distance until he finally succumbed.

Dan Lukuti, a feared bandit leader, had his operational base in Kokonba forest in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

He commanded over 50 armed men and was responsible for multiple attacks in Dan Jiloga, Rijiya, Zonai, Magami, and along the Gusau-Magami highway.

He also extended his criminal activities  into Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State.

Despite his terror reign, his final moments were marked by unbearable suffering, as eyewitnesses reported that he howled and barked in agony until he died.

His gang members, overwhelmed by fear and superstition, forced villagers in Kizara to conduct his burial, laying him to rest at the local primary school.

It is believed that his mysterious demise could either be linked to rabies or spiritual repercussions for his years of terror.

His death came amidst intensified military operations targeting bandit enclaves across the Northwest.
