Bayern beat Arsenal

Arsenal 1-0 on Wednesday to in Germany to qualify for the semi-finals of the Champions league.

Bayern qualified for the semi-final 3-2 on aggregate, having draw 2-2 at the Emirates Stadium a week ago.

Bayern opened the scoring in the 63rd minute of the match. Joshua Kimmich burst into the box to get on the end of a whipped in cross from Raphael Guerreiro and scored magnificently from close range into the top left corner to make it 1-0.

Earlier, Jamal Musiala latched onto a pass and let rip with a swerving shot from long range towards the right side of the goal. It was a difficult effort to deal with and David Raya did well to punch it away.

Gabriel Martinelli, in the 31st minute got on the end of a defence splitting pass inside the box and immediately directed a low shot towards the middle of the goal, but Manuel Neuer made a great save.

In the 47th minute, Leon Goretzka had a good opportunity when he latched on to a cross from the wing, but his header from near the penalty spot was not accurate enough and the ball glanced away off the left post.

Raphael Guerreiro is the first to get to the rebound and quickly sent it back towards goal. One of the opponents got in the way of his effort and deflected the ball onto the post.
