Ganduje Condoles People, Govt Of Jigawa Over Tanker Explosion

The National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Abudullahi Umar Ganduje, has expressed deep sympathy over the monumental loss of lives and injuries recorded in Wednesday’s petrol tanker explosion in Majia, Jigawa state.
“I’m deeply saddened to hear about the devastating tanker explosion in Jigawa State, which claimed over 150 precious lives and left many others with severe injuries,” he said in a statement on Thursday.
He extended his condolences to the families of those who died and prayed for the recovery of those injured.
“This tragedy is a sobering reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of prioritizing safety in our daily lives. I pray that Almighty Allah grants the deceased eternal rest and comforts their loved ones during this difficult time.”
The APC National Chairman said that the party stands united with the government and people of Jigawa State during this challenging period.
“We understand the gravity of this incident and the impact it has on the community. As a party, we are committed to supporting the relief efforts and ensuring that those affected receive the necessary assistance. We urge all Nigerians to join us in praying for the victims and their families.”
Ganduje commended emergency responders and medical personnel for their tireless efforts, stating that their selfless service in aiding the injured is highly commendable.
“To the people of Jigawa State, I say that you are not alone in this moment of grief. We share your pain and your loss, and we will stand by you as you rebuild and recover.”
He urged the nation to use this incident as a reminder of the collective responsibility to prioritize safety and well-being.
