Gov. Namadi loses son, mother within 24 hours

Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has lost his son less than 24 hours after the death of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi.
The 24-year-old Abdulwahab Umar Namadi died in a traffic accident today along Dutse-Kafin Hausa road.
The car in which the deceased died was said to have summersalted killing him instantly while his friends, who sustained various degrees of injuries, were rushed to Dutse General Hospital.
The governor who rushed back from an official trip in China over the death of his mother on Wednesday, had to witness the burial of his son hours after returning to the state.
Late Abdulwahab was buried at Kafin Hausa cemetery.
