Hundreds Protest Bad Governance In Minna
Hundreds of people on Monday trooped to the streets of Minna in Niger State to protest over bad governance and biting economic hardship in the country.
The protesters chanted anti-government slogans and demanded for quick intervention including the restoration of fuel subsidy.
The protesters displaced placards with inscriptions ‘Enough is Enough’; ‘Stop Anti-Masses Policies’; ‘We Are Not Slaves In Our Country’; ‘Hardship Is Unbearable’, ‘Fuel Subsidy Must Be Back’, among others.
A 10-day nationwide protest over bad governance in Nigeria is expected to commence on August 1, in spite of efforts by government to stop the protest.
