
JGSG sympathizes with AA Rano over fire incident at Kazaure filling station

The Jigawa State Taskforce on Petroleum Products has described the recent fire outbreak at AA RANO filling Station in Kazaure as a great tragedy.
The Taskforce Chairman, retired Col. Muhammad Alhassan stated this during a sympathy visit to the Filling Station in Kazaure.
He said already a high powered government delegation headed by the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim has paid a sympathy visit over the fire incident.
Alhassan described the incident as an act of God and urged Filling Stations to take more safety and precautionary measures in their respective stations to avoid fire outbreaks.
Responding the Manager of the station Malam Idris Yahuza Turaki commended Gov. Umar Namadi for sending two separate delegations to sympathize with them.
He said the visit was an indication of governor’s concerned over the plight of his people.
The manager said already renovation work on the damaged section had commenced in earnest, assuring that they would soon begin normal business operations.
It would be recalled that a Tanker loaded with more than 60,000 litres of PMS burst into flames at the Kazaure AA RANO Filling Station last Month, although no live was lost during the incident.
