Jigawa APC endorses President Tinubu, Gov Namadi for 2027

The Elder’s Committee of Jigawa Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has endorsed President Bola Tinubu and Gov.Umar Namadi as its sole aspirants for the 2027 Presidential and Jigawa State Governorship Elections.
Alhaji Ahmad Garba, the state’s APC Chairman, stated this during a meeting with the Governor at the Government House, Dutse.
Garba said the committee had also resolved to purchase the party’s nomination forms for President Bola Tinubu and Gov.Umar Namadi to enable them to seek for re-election in the 2027 general elections.
He said the decision was part of the three resolutions reached at the committee’s meeting, which included endorsing Tinubu and Namadi as its sole Presidential and Jigawa Governorship aspirant for 2027 poll.
Garba said that members of the committee also agreed to contribute money to purchase the nomination forms for Tinubu and Namadi.
He said that the members of the committee also resolved to adopt Tinubu and Namadi as their consensus aspirants for the Presidential and Jigawa Governorship Elections.
Garba stated that the resolutions were adopted by the representative of three zones of the state, Alhaji Farouk Adamu Aliyu( Jigawa South-West), Sen. Ibrahim Muhammad Kiri-kasamma (Jigawa North-East), and Alhaji Isah Muhammad Gerawa(Jigawa North-West).
