Jigawa Coalition of Political Parties Honours Reps Member

The Coalition of All Political Parties (CAPP) in Jigawa State has honoured the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Police Affairs, Abubakar Makki Yalleman with an ‘Excellence Service Award’.
Yalleman, who represents Malam Madori/Kaugama federal constituency in Jigawa state, was honoured for his outstanding performance in the green chamber and tremendous impact in his constituency.
According to the Chairman of the state Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Alhaji Murtala Musa Galamawa, Yalleman was selected after a thorough assessment and review of the performance ot the 11 House of Representatives members from the state.
Galamawa commended the selection committee for its objectivity, saying what qualified Yalleman for the award included his empowering of 10,000 women with between N50, 000 and N100,000 each to enhance their businesses, connecting 20 towns and villages in the constituency to the national grid, and distribution of five trailer load of fertilizer to farmers.
“He also drilled solar powered boreholes in 30 towns and villages, constructed five roads linking five villages in the two local governments, and the construction of five health centres.
“Yalleman has employed over 1000 youths into the local vigilance group in the constituency who receive N30,000 as salary each month, while 20 villages were supplied with clean drinking water,” Galmawa added.
According to him, the Reps members has also secured the enrolment of many youths into the military, police, immigration and Customs Service.
“The lawmaker has gotten jobs for 1,080 youths across the state into the Federal Civil Service, which include 800 into the Nigeria Police Force, 200 into the Army, Air force and Navy, 30 employed by the Federal Fire Service and 120 by the Nigeria Immigration Service,” the chairman said.
Responding after receiving the award, Yalleman said the recognition would ginger him to do more.
The lawmaker, who was represented by Habibu Sani Sara, pledged to discharge his responsibilities to his constituents in every way possible.
The two term lawmaker was reelected to represent the constituency in 2023 after a successful tenure from 2019 to 2023 in the House of Representatives.
