Jigawa state governor, Malam Umar Namadi, had reinstated his Special Adviser on Salary and Pension, Alhaji Bashir Ado Kazaure, who was suspended over minimum wage controversy.
The reinstatement of the Special Adviser was announced in a statement by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.
The reinstatement was with immediate effect, and followed a thorough investigation by a committee chaired by the State Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Bello Abdulkadir Fanini.
“The committee’s report addressed the circumstances surrounding Kazaure’s suspension, which had been due to a premature announcement concerning a proposed minimum wage of N70,000.”
The SSG said the decision to lift the suspension reflected the governor’s commitment to upholding fairness and due process in the handling of government affairs.
