JUST IN: Gov Namadi Dismisses SA Gender

Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has dismissed his Special Assistant on Gender, Miss Khadija Sidi Suleiman with immediate effect.
This was announced by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Malam Bala Ibrahim in a statement made available to The Syndicate in Dutse.
“With this development, all rights and privileges attached to her office as Special Assistant to the Governor on Gender, have been withdrawn,” the statement added.
She was directed to immediately hand over all government property in her possession to the office of the SSG.
No reason was given for her dismissal.
Miss Khadija Sidi Suleiman was a staff of Jigawa State Radio and an activist before her appointment as Special Assistant.
Khadija is the second aide to be removed by the governor within three months.
