Kano Govt. approves Sallah Break for Schools 
Kano State Government has directed all Primary and Post Primary Schools in the state to proceed on the Eid-el-Kabir Break from Wednesday, 4th June 2025, to Monday, 16th June 2025.
A statement signed by the Director Public Enlightenment in the state Ministry of Education, Alhaji Balarabe Kiru, said that parents and guardians were requested to pick up their children by the early hours of Wednesday, 4th June, 2025.
Kiru said that all other aspects of the 2024/2025 school academic calendar which included the stipulated public holidays remained valid.
He quoted the state Commissioner for Education, Dr. Ali Makoda as urging parents and guardians to ensure that their children complied with the resumption date and thanked them for the usual support and cooperation given to the ministry.
“I want to use this opportunity to appreciate the usual support and cooperation given to the Ministry by the good people of the state and also wish the students and pupils for a successful Sallah Break ” he added.
