
Kano Pilgrims Board tasks intending pilgrims on timely completion of payment
The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, has called on all intending pilgrims in the state to ensure the completion of their Hajj deposit on time.
The Director General of the board, Alhaji Lamin Danbappa, said this in a statement on Monday in Kano.
Danbappa said that the annual Hajj pilgrimage was a fixed religious obligation that cannot be deferred under any circumstances.
He emphasised the importance of adhering to the prescribed timeline for the sacred pilgrimage.
Danbappa urged all intending pilgrims to ensure completion of the payment of their Hajj seat deposit before the expiration of the deadline to secure their slots for 2025 pilgrimage.
“Timely payment is essential for effective planning and preparation toward ensuring a smooth and successful Hajj operation.
“Hajj is a divinely ordained obligation for every capable Muslim, and its schedule is immovable. We therefore call on all intending pilgrims to comply with the prompt settlement of their deposits,” he stated.
