It advised students and parents to remain patient and await further update, assuring that efforts are being made to ensure the results are released promptly and accurately.
WAEC Communication Officer, Moyosore Adeyegbe dismissed as false, reports that the results will be released on August 5.
“It could be released before the said date and may even be after,” she said on Tuesday.
“The August 5 date was not verified from the appropriate quarters,” she added
The official explained that the “results are usually released on or before 45 days after the conduct of the last paper.
“If you calculate this in variation to August 5 – it’s not up to 45 days. That date they are putting there has not been verified or confirmed by WAEC. The report didn’t come from us.”
