No Plan to demolish Takum Central Mosque – Taraba Govt
Taraba State Government has denied claims that it has concluded plans to demolish Takum Central Mosque, and the town’s old palace.
A statement by the Commissioner for Information, Zainab Usman Jalingo, dismissed the claim as false and baseless.
“The Taraba State Government, under Governor Agbu Kefas’ leadership, categorically refutes this claim,” she said, emphasizing that no such plan exist.
“This false information, fabricated with malicious intent, aims to provoke fear and tension within the community.
“Our commitment to delivering good governance and meaningful development benefits all citizens equally, regardless of their religion or tribe.
“These falsehoods, spread by chaos-mongers, will not distract us.
The people of Taraba State are advised to disregard these rumours. The state government remains committed to peace, unity, growth, welfare and justice for all,” the commissioner added.
