A drug dealer has been jailed for eight months after a police officer caught him by using the bicycle he discarded.

Officers were also able to find drugs he had hidden in the process after they arrested him.

Justice Oyedokun, 22, was stopped by police on December 9, 2024 along Romney Road in Greenwich, South East London,  but ran from away leaving his bike behind.

Sgt Alan Cooley then got on the suspect’s bike and pursued him, catching up with him a few minutes later and was arrested with a quantity of cannabis found on him..

On January 20, 2025, Oyedokun was sentenced after he pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
