PSC Elevates 8,053 Senior Police Officers
The Police Service Commission on Wednesday, approved the promotion of 8,053 senior Police Officers as it concluded consideration of the recommendations of its Standing Committee on Police Promotions chaired by DIG Taiwo Lakanu rtd.
A total of 1,348 Superintendents were promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Supretendats (DSPs) to the rank of Superintendents, and 5, 829 Assistant Superintendents to DSPs.
The new Chief Superintendents include Anjuguri Manzah, Ihunwo Josephine; Matilda Umiah Ngbaronye; Opara Angela Precious; Ajaka Chinedu; Felix Ekpoudom; Aminu Mohammed Abdulkadir; Danladi Ameh Musa; Alhasan Yahaya, Adamu Muye Jesyca Gobum; Mohammed Yusuf Adamu; Martin William; Isa Ibrahim Umuoru; Ejiro Aganbi Daniel; David Samuel; Garba Musa Mahuta, and Ogu Caleb Ikechukwu, among others.
Those promoted to Superintendents include; Fatimah Abdlulazeez; Nnakwe Ugochukwu; Nioopwa Sondago; Fayiwole Julius Oluwadare; Chijioke Okoroafor; Omotayo Olatunde; Umar Faruk Yesufu; Lovina Obiageli Okwor; Ahmed Tijani Momoh; and Ugwu Regina, among others.
Among the ASPs promoted to DSPs were Aidenojie Walter; Joshua Chukwuma; Rosemary Obianujunwa Egbo; Oge Chukwu Emeka Oduma and Mahid Muazu Abubakar.
