Rescuers are battling to save occupants of a vehicle crushed by a container at Mile 2 area of Lagos.
The accident caused chaos as concerned onlookers gathered to help before emergency responders arrived.
Officers from the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) were among the first at the scene, working tirelessly to coordinate the rescue operations.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as harrowing but highlighted the commendable efforts of passersby who provided immediate assistance before professional rescuers took over.
“People rushed to help immediately, trying to ensure anyone inside the vehicle was safe,” one bystander said.
As of the time of filing this report, no fatalities have been confirmed, though the condition of the vehicle’s occupants remains unclear.
