Sallah: Gov. Radda Approves N45,000 Grant For Workers
Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has approved the payment of N45,000 grant to all civil servants in the state to enable them celebrate the Eid-El-Kabir with ease.
A government Statement on Saturday said that the governor gave the approval following a memo forwarded to him by the State Head of Service, Falalu Bawale.
The statement explained that while N15,000 was bonus for the civil servants to celebrate the Sallah festival, they will be expected to refund N30,000 to the government within three months, beginning from July.
The state government will spend more than N3 billion in paying the grant to all workers in the state and local government services.
