President Bola Tinubu will reshuffle his cabinet soon, Presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, said on Wednesday.

Onanuga, who made this known at a news conference in Abuja, said that the president has confirmed that the cabinet reshuffle will take effect soon, but did not give any date.

“The President has made it clear that he plans to reshuffle his cabinet. Whether it happens before October 1, I cannot say for sure, but it will happen,” Onanuga stated.

He also said the President had directed all ministers to propagate the achievements of the administration.

“The President has instructed all ministers to actively communicate what their ministries are achieving. Some of them have been hesitant to engage with the media, but the President wants them to change that,” Onanuga said.

He added, “The public needs to hear about the significant work being done by this administration. It’s time for the ministers to go out and share the progress being made, to show that the government is indeed working.”
