Why Governor Namadi Deserves Second Term – Senator

The Senator representing Jigawa North East senatorial district, Abdulhamid Ahmed Malammadori says there is no vacancy in Jigawa State Government House in 2027.
According to him, Governor Umar Namadi is doing exceptionally well and it will be foolhardy for anyone to contest against him.
The Senator spoke during a Citizens and Government Engagement Programme in Birniwa local government area of the state on Monday.
“Governor Umar Namadi is doing well, therefore, there’s no need for anybody to think of challenging him in the 2027 election.
“He deserves a second term come 2027 because of his outstanding performance, and is positively touching the socio-economic lives of the people through human and infrastructural projects in both rural and urban areas,” he said.
Malammadori said that was the more reason members of the National Assembly from the state have been working closely with the governor to spread dividends of democracy across the state.
The Senator said on his part, he has done a lot to advance the interest of the senatorial district.
“Within these two years, I have provided a total of 63 different projects across the eight local government areas under my constituency. This includes utility vehicles for security, Solar powered street lights and water stations.
“I also did a number of empowerment programmes where youth and women became major beneficiaries; secured employment for our people at the federal level, more especially in the security agencies, to mention but a few.”
Senator Malammadori promised to continue providing more dividends of democracy across the constituency.
