Zamfara APC Announces Total Support For Tinubu’s Second Term

Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday at a well attended stakeholders meeting, endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office.
A statement issued by Yusuf Idris Gusau, the state APC Publicity Secretary, said the endorsement was unanimous.
The stakeholders were led by Senator Abdulaziz Yari, a former Governor of the state and the Senator representing Zamfara West in the National Assembly.
Yari who chaired the meeting said for continuity, peace and progress of Nigeria, Tinubu should be allowed to lead the country for a second term at the end of this tenure in 2027.

Senator Yari described President Tinubu as a leader that listens and implementing good plans for the country.
He said as part of government intervention, foodstuffs are becoming affordable while fertilizer will be provided in abundance next farming season.
Minister of State for Defence and immediate past governor of the state, Dr Bello Mohammed Matawalle, who was Saudi Arabia for the lesser Hajj, called on phone and addressed the crowd, expressing support for the endorsement of President Tinubu.
The motion for the endorsement was moved by Senator Sahabi Ya’u who is representing Zamfara North in the National Assembly and was seconded by the House of Representatives member representing Maru/Bungudu Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu.
At the end of the meeting, all the stakeholders were unanimous in supporting Tinubu’s second term.
Earlier, the state party chairman, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani said the party summoned the stakeholders meeting to review successes and challenges and to see how to improve for a better future.
He APC in Zamfara State is the party to beat as it has remained formidable and united, and will continue to support President Tinubu’s polices and programmes.
In their separate speeches, former Deputy governors Mallam Ibrahim Wakkala Muhammad, Muktar Ahmad Anka, Senator Hassan Muhammad Nasiha, Senator Sahabi Alhaji Yau, Senator Tijjani Yahaya Kaura and Hon. Muktar Shehu Idris emphasised the need for unity which is the bedrock of success and progress of the party.
They said Zamfara is for APC considering the size of the supporters at all levels and is therefore set to take over the government of Zamfara in 2027.
Other dignitaries at the meeting which drew thousands of the party loyalists included Hon. Engr Suleiman Abubakar Gummi, Hon. Abba Ahmad Sani, Hon. Isah Muhammad Anka, Ambassador Abubakar Hussaini Moriki, Hon. Muttaka Muhammad Rini and Engr Abdullahi Abdulkarim Tsafe.
Others included Deputy Chairman, Alh. Hassan Marafa Damri, Secretary Hon Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima, Publicity Secretary, Malam Yusuf Idris Gusau, Welfare Secretary, Hon Bashir Idris Ataka, APC Legal adviser, Barr Ibrahim Aliyu Ajiya Esq, Youth Leader, Hon Musa Idris Ardo, Zonal Vice Chairmen Alh Sani Sada Kaura, Alh Ahmad Saidu Maiaya, Assistant Welfare Secretary, Alh Shehu J Muhammad, Assistant Publicity Secretary, Hon Junaidu Attahiru Dosara and Chairman Disables, Samaila Mohammed.
Also in attendance were former SSG Kabiru Balarabe, former Head of Service Alhaji Kabiru Mohammed Gayari and former Chief of Staff Government House, Ibrahim Suleiman, former Speakers Zamfara State House of Assembly, former Senators, former representatives, former state assembly members, for commissioners, former Special Advisers, former Directors General, SSAs and SSAs among others.
