Jigawa APC Chair Excited Over Party’s Victory In LG Polls
By: Ahmed Aminu, Dutse
The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State, Alhaji Aminu Sani Gumel, has appreciated the electorates in the state for their overwhelming support to the party’s candidates during the local councils polls held on Saturday.
This was contained in a statement issued by Gumel, and made available to The Syndicate on Sunday in Dutse.
According tohim, the massive support was a vote of confidence on the state governor, Malam Umar Namadi, whose policies and programmes have been impacting the citizens positively.
“Jigawa people have confidence on our party and our leader, Governor Namadi, and his 12 point agenda designed to make Jigawa great.
“Therefore, they cannot make the mistake of voting for a party that lacks manifesto or clear blueprint for the development of Jigawa state,” he added.
The Syndicate reports that the elected chairmen and councillors for the 27 local government areas will be sworn-in on Monday in Dutse, the state capital.
