Kaduna Lady Completes 100 Hours Barbecue Marathon In Search Of Guinness Record
A Chef in Kaduna, Nigeria, Miracle John on Sunday evening completed 100 hours of cooking as she strives to break the Guinness World Record.
The 100 hours of barbecue took place at Pluto Hotel, Unguwar Rimi, Kaduna from December 11 to 15, 2024.
“100 hours of BBQ magic, unwavering passion, unbridled creativity. I have transcended the boundaries of excellence, I am shining at the finish line, I can see everyone who waited at the edge,” she posted shortly after reaching the 100-hour mark.
“As the clock strikes 100, I’m grateful to everyone who unites to celebrate this monumental achievement.”
Miracle John, aka Sarauta Arewa Mina, said her efforts has etched “itself into annals of history. The Odyssey of smoke, fire, and flavor has captivated hearts, tantalized taste buds and inspired many new generational BBQ enthusiasts”.
“My record is more than a just a record breaking feat, it’s a testament to the transformative power of food, community and determination and team work.
“Throughout this 100 hours, I pushed the limits of human endurance and culinary creativity and skills.
“I have experimented with flavors, techniques and ingredients, crafting a symphony of dishes that have left many awestruck and craving for more.
“I honour not only myself but the people who have supported me, the family, friends, every one of my project team, supporters, my cheerleaders/well wishers and everyone who made this marathon possible,” she wrote on her Facebook page.
