BREAKING NEWS: Rivers Assembly to screen LGAs Caretaker Committee members
The Rivers State House of Assembly, led by Speaker Victor Oko-Jumbo, has invited nominees for screening and confirmation as Chairmen and members of the Caretaker Committees for the 23 Local Government Areas of the state
The nominees, comprising a Chairman and seven members for each of the 23 Local Government Areas, were forwarded to the Assembly by Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, for screening and confirmation
The screening exercise, in accordance with Section 9(5) of the Rivers State Local Government Law, No. 5 of 2018, is scheduled for Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 8:00 a.m., at the Hallowed Chamber, Rivers State House of Assembly, Auditorium, Admin. Block, Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt
Nominees are expected to come with 12 sets of their Curriculum Vitae (CV) and original and photocopies of their credentials.
