CAN Appreciates Jigawa Senator’s Support For Widows, Elderly

The Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN), has appreciated Senator Babangida Hussaini for his support for orphans, widows and elderly Christians in Jigawa North Senatorial District.
The appreciation was contained in a statement issued by CAN deputy chairman, Kazaure local government area, Pastor Ochai Abho.
He said that the donation of rice and cash to vulnerable persons demonstrated the senator’s generosity, kindness and care for his constituents.
Pastor Abho noted that the senator has always included Christians in the constituency in any interventions to uplift the public, especially during the festive period.
“During this festival, the senator has donated bags of rice and cash to christians in the 12 local government areas of Jigawa northwest senatorial district.
“Let me use this medium to extend our sincere gratitude and special thanks to distinguished senator, Babangida Hussaini, Walin Kazaure, for the inclusion of christians in all his support and interventions since he became the senator.”
Meanwhile, the senator has commiserated with the family of late Elder Ayuba Bako who slumped and died during a service to mark his 50th marriage anniversary on Christmas day in Kazaure.
Hussaini, represented by his aide, Alhaji Umar Mega described late Ayuba as a man of peace, humble and God fearing who lived in Kazaure for over 50 years without a dented record.
He prayed for the repose of his soul and urged the family to regard Ayuba’s death as a test of faith.
