Dangote is our unique selling point at Kaduna Trade Fair – KADCCIMA
As the 46h Kaduna International Trade Fair begun on Thursday, the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KADCCIMA), organisers of the fair, says its long years of partnership with Dangote Group, has been its “unique selling point”.
The Syndicate reports that Dangote Group has been the major sponsor of Kaduna trade fair for decades.
The Kaduna trade fair, also referred to as Africa’s major fair, has been holding annually in Kaduna for close to five decades.
The Director General of the Chamber, Dr Usman Saulawa, described Dangote Group as Nigeria’s leading conglomerate, helping to drive various sectors of the nation’s economy.
He stated that Dangote Group has made significant impact on businesses in Kaduna State, Nigeria and across African continent and other parts of the world.
“Our selling point is the joint collaboration and full involvement of Kaduna State Government, Dangote Group and other companies,” he said, adding that the symbiotic partnership between KADCCIMA and Dangote Group has been of immeasurable value to both.
Dr Usman commended Aliko Dangote, the Group’s President, saying he has been an unwavering benefactor of the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture.
According to him, the consistent sponsorship and participation of Dangote’s Strategic Business Units in the fair, has supported economic development across Kaduna state.
On the 46th fair, the director-general said no fewer than five countries are participating, in addition to over 300 Micro Small and Medium Scale enterprises.
The theme for this year’s fair is ‘Promoting Efficiency in Manufacturing, Trade, and Agriculture through Digital Transformation’.
Meanwhile, Dangote Group spokesman Anthony Chiejina, said in a statement that the theme resonates with the company’s strategic focus.
He said a special help desk has been set up at the company’s pavilion to respond to inquiries, and urged participants to leverage the numerous innovative products of the company, which include Dangote Fertiliser, Dangote Sugar, Dangote Cement, Dangote Salt, Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals, and others.
The company will host its Special Day at the trade fair complex on February 22, 2025.
