Hajj Commission Gets Acting Secretary
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced the appointment of Alhaji Alidu Shutti as Acting Secretary, with immediate effect.
A statement by Fatima Sanda Usara,
Assistant Director, Information and Publications Division, said the appointment was approved by NAHCON Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman.
The appointment followed the voluntary retirement of the erstwhile Secretary, Dr Abdullahi Rabi’u Kontagora on December 6.
Alhaji Shutti has been the commission’s Director Inspectorate and Compliance since 2023, will act as secretary pending the appointment of a substantive one.
