Jigawa Declares Monday Work Free Day

Jigawa government has declared Monday July 8, 2024 as work free day to mark the new Islamic Year 1446 AH.
This is contained in a statement made available to The Syndicate in Dutse by the State Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad Dagaceri.
The head of the civil service said government declared the day as public holiday to allow workers to join other Muslims to celebrate the Islamic new year.
Alhaji Muhammad Dagaceri advised all citizens to pray for continued peace and prosperity of the State.
The Government also urged the people to reflect and live their lives based on the teachings of Islam and practice of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)
It also urged the people to continue to be law abiding and shun any act that could cause breach of the peace in the state.
